Slavko felt like he was working hard in the gym, but he wasn’t seeing the results he wanted.
He was no stranger to fitness – he did swimming competitions and tried out various gyms and home workouts.
But what 28-year-old Slavko lacked was the knowledge and nutrition and the accountability of having a professional behind him to push him onto his goal.
That’s exactly what he got – and more – when he started a transformation program at Ultimate Performance.
Now he’s 14kg (31lbs) lighter, leaner and more muscular than ever before thanks to a results-driven personal training and nutrition program built around him.

Slavko, who works as a pharmacist, felt he was spinning his wheels at the gym but getting nowhere training by himself.
“I was working out on my own for a long period but then I wasn’t taking care of my diet whatsoever. I would eat and party and drink a lot. So, I saw no results.
“I felt like I was always in the same place even after a year and a half, and then the best thing was to join something that had a personal trainer who can guide you step-by-step to reach your goal.”
This is what attracted him to U.P. – having his own trainer who could manage the whole transformation and lead him through the process to his goal.
Although he found it challenging at first, he quickly grew to love his routine and the fitness lifestyle.
“It was very hard at the beginning to adjust your diet to a low carb intake, but as time goes you start getting sucked into it and you like it. It’s very good when you start seeing changes in your body.
“Before, I used to compete with swimming competitions, so you just have to put your mind to it and everything goes well – you have to have willpower.”
One of the biggest hurdles he had to face was the coronavirus lockdown. But once he was back in the gym and refocused on doing a photoshoot, he was not going to be denied his goal.
“It was a bit of a struggle, especially with the diet change. But I think I managed very well to stay on a good track. So now when we’re back and we did our goal in targeting photoshoot, I am very satisfied.
“When I got back to the gym, I just put myself in that state of mind where I’m here and you are guiding me and working out and it’s amazing what we’ve done so far.”
The results Slavko was able to achieve with his trainer at U.P. blew him away. Looking back at his ‘before’ photos was an eye-opener to show how far he has come.
Family and friends have constantly been calling and messaging him to find out how he achieved his transformation.
“You look at yourself in the mirror every day when you wake up and you go through different stuff.
“You see how you look and you don’t remember which stage when you’re at now, so it’s just when someone memorizes it as a photo and then shows you your ‘before and after’, it’s like a huge difference.
“It’s mind-blowing because I had so many calls and messages from my friends and I showed them photos that they’re like ‘where is this gym?’ ‘How do we join?’ XYZ questions because people don’t want to change their life and start eating more healthy and I guess the whole world is going towards healthy living and exercising more than usual.”
Slavko says having a trainer in his corner every step of the way helped him achieve results he could have never dreamed of on his own.
This experience has gotten Slavko addicted to this new lifestyle which he’s very proud of and he credits it all to his trainer at U.P.
“My trainer is a very good motivator and so you push harder. Even if I’m feeling lazy one day, my trainer increases his voice a bit and so you push hard again and you pick up on these reps.
“I really like it – it’s amazing and I do want to stay with U.P. for as long as I can.
“People should try it and give it a go – I’m sure they’re going to like it because a gym like this doesn’t exist in London.
“There are obviously other PTs and nutritionists who are educated, but I think this is one of the best in town so they will not regret coming here.”
